The YAMWI Professional Leadership Award was presented to Charles (Charlie) Barron

The YAMWI Conference Theme Award - Each year Yankton Area Mental Wellness, Inc. chooses a theme for the annual conference.  The 12th annual conference had the theme “Counting on YOU to Make a Difference”.   This award is presented in recognition of the significant impact one individual can make for improving services, which fulfills the goal for the 2010 YAMWI conference theme. This years award was presented to Carla Hummel

The YAMWI Mental Wellness Community Service Award was presented to the Yankton Children’s Mental Health Fund


2009 The 2009 YAMWI Board of Directors Award was presented to Dr. Alan Brevik
2009 The YAMWI Professional Leadership Award was presented to Betty Viau.
2009 The YAMWI Theme Award recognizes dedicated service that best fulfills this year’s YAMWI Conference Theme Celebrating the Stars Among Us and was presented to Lewis & Clark Behavioral Health Services, Inc.
2009 The YAMWI Community Service Award was presented to Yankton Hy-Vee Food Store

2008

The 2008 YAMWI Board of Directors Award was presented to Barb Perk, Susan Kudera and the Adult Education Program from the SD Human Services Center of Yankton  in recognition of outstanding support and service for the Yankton Area Mental Wellness Conference.

The YAMWI Professional Leadership Award was presented to Lori Lincoln of Yankton, in recognition for professional contributions to YAMWI as an officer and presenter and facilities coordinator for the Yankton Area Mental Wellness Conference.

The YAMWI Theme Award recognizes dedicated service that best fulfills this year’s YAMWI Conference Theme “Caring Across the Decade” and was presented to the Don & Jan Lowrie family of Yankton.
